Horse Head Nebula 8x10

The Horsehead Nebula, also known as Barnard 33 or IC434, is a star-forming nebula in the constellation Orion that's about 1,300 light-years away from Earth. It's made up of a cloud of ionized gas, a dark cloud of interstellar dust, and a portion of the dark cloud that resembles a horse's head. The nebula is illuminated by nearby hot stars, which also excite it.
